Abstract
Blitar Regency is one of the regions in East Java Province with significant potential in the agricultural sector, with a Food Security Index value of 86.43 in 2024. Achieving sustainable food security faces challenges in three main pillars of sustainable agriculture: ecology, economy, and social. This study formulates an analysis of the factors influencing sustainable food security using the SEM PLS method. Factors affecting food security in Kendalrejo Village in the people aspect include age and education level, while the planet aspect includes corn seed type, pest levels, and irrigation. In Kamulan Village, factors affecting food security in the people aspect include age, technology adaptation, and the type of machinery/tools, while the planet aspect includes soil pH, corn seed, and water sources. The factor analysis results are used to develop strategies through dynamic modeling for profit optimization. The optimal profit scenario model in Kendalrejo Village is the modern technology adoption scenario, which can increase farmers' profits by 5.02%, from IDR 88,190,816,886 to IDR 92,852,827,198. In Kamulan Village, the optimal profit scenario model is the corn seed variety replacement scenario, which can increase farmers' profits by 2.56%, from IDR 79,367,510,698 to IDR 81,450,120,501. The technology adoption scenario has risk impacts such as technical risks, farmer adaptation difficulties, and social and economic risks related to the use of modern technology. The seed replacement scenario has risk impacts related to production uncertainty, environmental risks, and seed supply risks. Both selected scenarios require mitigation strategies to minimize the negative impacts of potential risks.
