Abstract
CV. Buki Jaya adalah sebuah Perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pembuatan produk mesin manufaktur. perusahaan ini menawarkan berbagai mesin sesuai permintaan konsumen. Akan tetapi CV. Buki Jaya melakukan pengembangan usaha dengan membuat mesin produksi bata interlocking yang dapat menghasilkan bata dengan kualitas yang baik dimana mesin cetak bata tersebut menggunakan sistem hidrolik. Perencanaan mesin dibutuhkan guna memberikan kemudahan dalam perencanaan pengembangan usaha CV. Buki Jaya. Setelah dilakukan pengamatan, pembuatan bata interlocking yang masih dilakukan secara manual dengan handpress memiliki kekurangan pada saat proses pencetakan tekanan antara tiap bata berbeda yang mempengaruhi tingkat kepadatan dari bata tersebut yang berimbas pada kekuatan bata.Tujuan perancangan mesin ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang proses mendesain mesin yang sesuai dengan perhitungan dan kebutuhan, serta komponen-komponen pembangunnya. Hasil dari penelitian sistem hidrolik menunjukkan tekanan kerja sebesar 2 bar masih jauh di bawah batas aman (75 bar), dengan rod hidrolik berdiameter 56 mm memenuhi kriteria kekuatan, termasuk faktor keamanan 4 terhadap tegangan buckling dan tekan. Evaluasi mur (locknut) juga membuktikan keamanan terhadap beban kerja 1.000 N, sementara perhitungan pusat massa molding (X₀ = 150,3 mm; Z₀ = 150,4 mm) memastikan keseimbangan operasional. Simulasi Finite Element Analysis (FEA) mengonfirmasi tegangan maksimal (1,6 MPa) jauh di bawah batas luluh material baja ST41 (370 MPa), sehingga desain dinyatakan aman dan layak diproduksi.
