Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis hubungan antara harga diri, kecemasan sosial, dan Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) pada mahasiswa berusia 18–29 tahun. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 300 mahasiswa Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Muhammadiyah Paciran, Lamongan, pada tahun akademik 2024. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dan analisis regresi linier. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kecemasan sosial memiliki pengaruh yang lebih dominan terhadap tingkat FoMO dibandingkan harga diri. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai koefisien regresi yang lebih tinggi pada kecemasan sosial (0,458) dibandingkan harga diri (0,285), serta nilai t yang lebih besar (8,200) dengan nilai signifikansi p = 0,000 (p < 0,01). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi kecemasan sosial yang dirasakan mahasiswa, semakin tinggi pula tingkat FoMO yang dialami.
