Abstract

PT. SKI is a producer of GoClink liquid soap that faces obstacles in the production process of liquid detergent, especially during the mixing stage, which still uses semi automatic equipment. The mixing and stirring process takes approximately ±43 minutes for a capacity of 80 liters per day, carried out by 2 operators with a non ergonomic working posture (REBA score 10). This study aims to design an automatic stirring device (Automix-Liquid Soap) based on anthropometry and ergonomic principles to increase capacity, accelerate the process, and reduce workload. The methods used include field observation, time measurement using Stopwatch Time Study, evaluation using Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA), device design based on anthropometric data of 5 workers, and investment feasibility analysis through Break Even Point (BEP), Payback Period (PBP), and Net Present Value (NPV). The results show a mixing time efficiency of 71.2% (a difference of 184.54 seconds) from 259.14 to 74.60 seconds, and stirring efficiency of 71.3% (a difference of 1667.34 seconds) from 2,338.2 to 670.86 seconds. Capacity increased to 180 liters, REBA score decreased to 2, and labor efficiency reached 50%. The investment cost amounted to Rp10,589,625, with the BEP in units achieved at 4,170 liters of production, BEP in currency at Rp64,630,042, and a Payback Period of 3 months and 23 days. The investment is considered feasible based on a positive NPV of Rp20,372,845.
