Abstract

CV. Wibisono Kreatif Media is a company engaged in the advertising, construction, and printing industry, with a make to order production system. In its production process, the company faces obstacles in the form of discrepancies between the number of neon box productions and customer demand. This is due to the absence of standard work time determination, which affects the low efficiency and productivity of the workforce. This study aims to determine the standard time for each stage of the neon box production process, to know the standard output that can be produced, and to calculate the efficient number of workers needed to meet production targets. The method used in this study is work time study using work sampling technique and workload analysis. The analysis stages include observing work time, adjustment with performance rating using Westinghouse method, calculating normal time and idle time, and determining standard time and standard output. The results of the research indicate that by establishing standard times, companies can identify which stages of the process require improvement and identify potential labor efficiency. Determining the optimal number of workers through workload analysis also assists companies in managing a balanced distribution of workload. Thus, this research provides solutions for companies to improve production efficiency, minimize wasted working time and enhance customer satisfaction through timely order fulfillment.
