Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis keigo yang digunakan dalam manga Spy x Family Volume 1 dengan mengacu pada klasifikasi keigo menurut Ogawa (1982) dan mendeskripsikan fungsi keigo yang digunakan menurut Hinata (dalam Sudjianto, 2007). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiolinguistik. Data berupa ungkapan keigo yang terdapat dalam tuturan tokoh-tokoh dalam manga Spy x Family Volume 1. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode baca catat, analisis dilakukan menggunakan teknik analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 3 jenis keigo yang digunakan tokoh-tokoh dalam manga Spy x Family Vol. 1, yang dominan digunakan berupa teineigo (63 ungkapan), diikuti sonkeigo (17 ungkapan) dan kenjougo (7 ungkapan). Fungsi keigo yang digunakan adalah untuk menyatakan penghormatan (keii o arawasu) dalam 20 data, menjaga jarak (kyori o arawasu) pada 5 data, menjaga martabat (taimen no iji) pada 4 data, menyatakan formalitas (foomarusa o arawasu) pada 3 data, menyatakan sindiran (hiniku o arawasu) pada 2 data, dan menyatakan rasa kasih sayang (aijou o arawasu) dalam 1 data.
