Abstract

UD Logam Abadi merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak dalam pembuatan aksesori untuk PLN dan Telkom, salah satunya adalah komponen sparepart Suspensen Q. Dalam kegiatan produksinya, perusahaan menghadapi sejumlah kendala, salah satunya adalah belum adanya standar waktu kerja bagi karyawan dalam menyelesaikan satu unit sparepart. Akibatnya, para pekerja tidak memiliki acuan target harian dalam menyelesaikan jumlah unit yang harus diproduksi, sehingga berdampak pada tidak tercapainya volume produksi yang diharapkan. Selain itu, permintaan pasar yang bersifat fluktuatif setiap bulan turut menambah kompleksitas perencanaan produksi. Proses perakitan yang masih dilakukan secara manual menjadikan peran tenaga kerja di bagian ini sangat krusial. Oleh karena itu, penetapan waktu standar sangat penting untuk menentukan capaian target produksi bulanan secara efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui waktu standar yang dibutuhkan pekerja dalam menyelesaikan satu unit Suspensen Q serta menentukan jumlah tenaga kerja optimal pada setiap divisi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Stopwatch Time Study. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, waktu standar penyelesaian satu unit Suspensen Q adalah 550,49 detik atau sekitar 9,16 menit. Adapun jumlah tenaga kerja optimal yang dibutuhkan adalah sebanyak 2 hingga 3 orang untuk setiap divisi.
