Abstract

This study serves to ixnalyse the Implementation of the General Election Accessibility Policy for Persons with Disabilities in the City of Surabaya, in implementing the policy, the Surabaya City KPU is guided by Law 7 of 2017. Research methods include interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that the Surabaya City KPU policy towards voters with disabilities has been carried out in accordance with existing regulations, the Surabaya City KPU ensures this by providing instructions and training to the lowest ranks who are directly in contact with voters, namely the KPPS. KPPS is given technical guidance by the PPS which has also been given technical guidance by the KPU on how to provide accessible services at TPS for persons with disabilities. The representatives of the disability community also confirmed this if during the 2024 ELECTION there were no reports or complaints regarding accessibility at TPS
