Abstract

Fenomena K-Pop yang semakin populer di Indonesia, khususnya di kalangan generasi muda, mendorong penggemar untuk terlibat dalam perilaku konsumtif yang signifikan, seperti pembelian merchandise dan lain sebagainya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kontrol diri dan konformitas dengan perilaku konsumtif pada penggemar K Pop di Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan populasi penelitian penggemar k-pop di Surabaya. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah 249 partisipan. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Skala Konformitas sebanyak 32 aitem, Skala Kontrol Diri sebanyak 13 aitem, dan Skala Konformitas sebanyak 15 aitem. Hasil analisis regresi berganda menunjukan nilai R= 0,497; F= 40,321 dan p=0,000 (p<0,05). Hasil ini menunjukan adanya hubungan antara kontrol diri dan konformitas dengan perilaku konsumtif pada penggemar K-Pop di Surabaya. Pada penelitian ini menghasilkan R square sebesar 0,247. Kontrol Diri dan Konformitas memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 24,7% dan 75,3% yang ditentukan oleh variabel lain yang tidak disebutkan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi penggemar k-pop, penulis dan pembaca mengenai kontrol diri, konformitas dan perilaku konsumtif.
