Abstract

Tingginya intensitas remaja dalam mengakses TikTok membuatnya terlena bahkan sampai lupa waktu. Dampak negatif dari intensitas penggunaan TikTok dapat menyebabkan pelepasan moral atau moral disengagement bagi remaja. Oleh karena itu, kontrol diri diperlukan oleh remaja dalam menggunakan TikTok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh intensitas penggunaan TikTok terhadap moral disengagement dengan kontrol diri sebagai variabel mediator. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA di kota Surabaya, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 356 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala. Adapun teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu uji asumsi klasik, analisis deskripsi, dan analisis jalur (path analysis). Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intensitas penggunaan TikTok dan moral disengagement melalui kontrol diri, diperoleh nilai z = 0,875 dengan signifikansi sebesar p = 0,382 (p > 0,05). Hal ini dapat diartikan bahwa variabel kontrol diri tidak mampu menjadi mediator pengaruh intensitas penggunaan tiktok terhadap moral disengagement. Hasil analasis menunjukkan hubungan langsung antara kontrol diri dengan moral disengagement, diperoleh nilai z = 0,888 dengan signifikansi sebesar p = 0,375 (p > 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kontrol diri dengan moral disengagement tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan. Hasil analasis menunjukkan hubungan langsung antara intensitas penggunaan TikTok dengan moral disengagement, diperoleh nilai z = 3,556 dengan signifikansi sebesar p = 0,001 (p < 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa intensitas penggunaan TikTok dengan moral disengagement memiliki hubungan yang signifikan. Hasil analasis menunjukkan hubungan langsung antara intensitas penggunaan TikTok dengan kontrol diri, diperoleh nilai z = 5,179 dengan signifikansisebesar p = 0,001 (p < 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa intensitas penggunaan TikTok dengan kontrol diri memiliki hubungan yang signifikan.
