Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the influence of Financial Literacy, Financial Management and Lifestyle on the Financial Readiness of Gen Z with a case study of students in Surabaya and Sidoarjo. Using a quantitative method with a survey approach, data collected through a questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents. The data analysis method used in this study is the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) 25, with the Multiple Linear Regression Analysis method, Validity Test, Reliability Test and Classical Assumption Test. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the variables Financial Literacy and Financial Management have a significant effect on the Financial Readiness of Gen Z, with significance values of 0.014 and 0.001 (<0.05) respectively. Conversely, the Lifestyle variable does not have a significant effect on Financial Readiness, with a significance value of 0.209 (> 0.05). Simultaneously, the three variables, namely Financial Literacy, Financial Management, and Lifestyle, have a significant positive effect on the Financial Readiness of Gen Z students in Surabaya and Sidoarjo. The contribution of the three variables to financial readiness is explained by 32.1% (R² = 0.321). This finding shows that although not all variables have an effect individually, students in the region have shown good financial readiness overall.
