Abstract

Negara Indonesia sekarang telah memasuki masa struktur penduduk usia tua, dimana jumlah penduduk tua lebih banyak dibanding dengan usia muda. Di satu sisi hal ini baik karena berarti tingkat harapan hidup di Indonesia meningkat, namun di satu sisi harus ada persiapan berbagai fasilitas yang ramah terhadap lansia. Peningkatan ini menimbulkan berbagai tantangan sosial, salah satunya adalah masalah lansia terlantar. Salah satu solusinya ialah menyediakan hunian yang ramah lansia. Kota Blitar saat ini memiliki masalah yang sama dan sampai saat ini belum memiliki fasilitas panti wreda yang dapat memberikan layanan perawatan dan perlindungan bagi lansia terlantar. Panti wreda menjadi solusi untuk menyediakan lingkungan yang aman, nyaman, dan mendukung kebutuhan lansia, baik secara fisik maupun psikologis. Penelitian ini mengusulkan perancangan fasilitas panti wreda di Kota Blitar dengan pendekatan Arsitektur Perilaku, yang berfokus pada pengintegrasian kebutuhan lansia dalam desain arsitektur. Pendekatan ini diharapkan dapat mengoptimalkan kualitas hidup lansia dan menjawab kebutuhan akan fasilitas perawatan lansia di Kota Blitar.
