Abstract

lanning, development and management of Industrial Estates in East Java. The need for clean water in the SIER Industrial Area has so far been met by PDAM Surya Sembada, Surabaya City. However, as the condition of the reservoir becomes increasingly shallow in the SIER Industrial Area, PT SIER will optimize surface water from the SIER reservoir to maintain the availability of raw water in the SIER Industrial Area. To meet the increasing demand for raw water, several steps need to be taken. The focus of this research is Firstly, knowing the water balance calculations for flood control and containment of the reservoir in the SIER Industrial Area and knowing the plans and efforts to optimize the reservoir in the SIER Industrial Area for business purposes in accordance with existing aspects. Second, for a basic study of rainwater balance calculations as a flood control measure in the SIER Industrial Area. The research results show that water storage and operational patterns were found for Zone 1, Zone 2 runoff discharge of 1.31 m3/sec which entered the SIER Reservoir with a potential total volume of SIER Reservoir storage space of 229,651.93 m3 while for Zone 3 runoff discharge was 229,651.93 m3. 0.06 m3/sec entering the Primary Channel 25-25 with a potential volume of full channel capacity without sediment (bankfull capacity) Channel 25 - 26 amounting to 10,229.60 m3. Technical Optimization Efforts by Normalizing Reservoir Sediment Dredging are able to increase water use by approximately 200% from the current conditions in 2024, while the results from the SIER Reservoir optimization budget are around Rp. 10.412.026.000,00
