Abstract

In implementing construction projects, time and cost are very influential on the success and failure of a project. Construction projects can experience project delays, this can be anticipated by accelerating (crashing) which in its implementation must still pay attention to cost factors. This research was carried out on the Sidoarjo Regional Hospital's Integrated Central Building construction project, which has a completion target of 194 calendar days and is planned for completion in 28 weeks. However, based on data in the field, there was a delay, according to the results of the data in the field, namely in the 7th week to the 10th week there was a delay of 5.06% with a progress value of 8.80% from 13.86%. The results of acceleration using the crashing method with the alternative of adding overtime working hours with variations of 1 hour, 2 hours and 3 hours are. By adding 1 hour of overtime, the total cost is IDR. 62.704.998.139,16. with a cost difference of Rp. 86.637.860,84. lower than normal costs and the duration is 187 days. By adding 2 hours of overtime, the total cost is IDR. 62.644.719.059,17 with a cost difference of Rp. 146,906,940.83 lower than normal costs and the duration is 182 days. By adding 3 hours of overtime, the total is IDR. 62.622.113.799,48 with a difference of Rp. 169.512.200,52 lower than normal costs and the duration is 180 days. Based on the results of these 3 scenarios, it can be concluded that the third scenario, namely with an additional 3 hours of overtime duration, is the most optimal when compared with the first and second scenarios.
