Abstract

PT Sarana Kreasi Lestari is a company engaged in manufacturing door and window frames made from wood. The company has several types of production machines, one of which is the Molding machine. This machine acts as a wood size profile tool that will be used in making doors and window frames. Of the many production machines, the molding 1 machine has a high frequency of downtime. An action is needed to maximize the effectiveness of this machine. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the level of effectiveness of the Molding 1 machine using the OEE method. The results of this study show that the OEE value of the Molding machine is 44.44%, which is still below the JIPM standard of 85%. While the availability value is 70.23%, the performance value is 64.48%, and the quality of product value is 96.78%. This OEE value can be increased by improving the SOP which is proven to help reduce the value of reducing speed losses.
