Abstract

Jalan Raya Sawunggaling ini diklasifikasikan sebagai jalan lokal sekunder dan juga termasuk jalan penghubung antar Provinsi. Panjang jalan Sawunggaling adalah 2 km dengan lebar jalan yaitu ± 8 meter dan memiliki tipe jalan 2 (dua) Lajur 2 (dua) Arah (2/2 UD). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui volume lalu lintas karena sering terjadi kemacetan di Jalan Sawunggaling Taman Sidoarjo. Sebab terjadinya kemacetan yaitu banyaknya aktivitas kendaraan besar serta kecil yang melintasi tengah lajur menyebabkan kapasitas jalan menurun. Arus lalu lintas ruas Jalan Raya Sawunggaling yang didominasi sepeda motor serta truk besar, serta perilaku pengendara sepeda motor tidak teratur juga dapat mengurangi kapasitas optimal jalan. Maka perlu dilakukan analisa volume lalu lintas menggunalan Manual Count pada ruas jalan ini. Metode penelitian ini secara kuantitatif dengan menggunakan Manual Kapasitas Jalan (MKJI, 1997). Perolehan data berasal dari data primer, , data Primer adalah data dari survei lalu lintas yang telah dilakukan di lapangan pada Ruas Jalan Sawunggaling Taman Sidoarjo. Temuan survei yang dilakukan hari Senin 23 September 2024 sampai dengan hari minggu 29 September 2024, berdasarkan tabel tersebut volume perkiraan kendaraan yang lalu-lalang bisa dipahami jika di jam 17.00 - 18.00 hari Jum’at, 27 September 2024 bisa disimpulkan jumlah kendaraan paling banyak jumlahnya 2225.45 Skr/jam.
