Abstract

Saat ini Kota Batu memiliki berbagai kelompok kesenian, diantaranya terdapat dua kesenian yang diakui sebagai Warisan Budaya Tak Benda untuk kesenian Bantengan dan Jaran Kepang dan mendapatkan sertifikat pada tahun 2020. Program pembangunan art center Arjuna Wiwaha diselenggarakan oleh Pemerintah Kota Batu yang terdapat pada RPD Kota Batu 2023 dan RKPD Kota Batu Tahun 2023. Kondisi eksisting Arjuna Wiwaha saat ini digunakan sebagai sendratari sebagai wadah pelaku seni untuk menampilkan seni pertunjukan yang diadakan secara rutin dibawah naungan Dinas Pariwisata Kota Batu setiap bulannya. Fasilitas ini menawarkan atraksi wisata pertunjukan yang menampilkan kesenian khas Kota Batu, memberikan pengetahuan edukatif kepada pengunjung, dan berfungsi sebagai tempat hiburan dan rekreasi.
