Abstract
This research aims to analyze Ana Waha Kolin's political communication strategy in the 2024 legislative elections in East Nusa Tenggara province, using Peter Schroder's Political Strategy Theory, which has 3 strategic assumptions. These 3 assumptions consist of Offensive Strategy (attack), Defensive Strategy (Defensive), and Political Marketing. This research uses qualitative research methods that combine primary and secondary data sources. Data was obtained using collection techniques such as observation, interviews and documentation. The collected data will be analyzed through the stages of data collection, data presentation, data reduction and drawing conclusions. The findings of this research show that Ana Waha Kolin's Political Communication Strategy in the 2024 Legislative Election in East Nusa Tenggara Province has gone quite well. Many programs have been implemented to develop the needs and development of underprivileged and needy communities. The results of the analysis carried out by researchers show that, through communication strategies, political parties are able to reach people's sympathizers or individuals who are still politically illiterate so that they are not swept away by the wave of political apathy. Thus, the meaning of political communication is a communication activity carried out in the political sphere. Through political communication strategies, which are carried out by Ana Waha Kolin in presenting the vision and mission of political party identities, they can create sympathy from the people which leads to victory, and encourage public participation in politics to vote.
