Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between emotion regulation and academic resilience in final students who are working on their thesis The hypothesis proposed is that there is a significant positive relationship between emotion regulation and academic resilience in final students in Surabaya who are working on their thesis This research is a correlational quantitative study involving 172 Surabaya students who are working on their thesis and the sampling was carried out using the GPower application. The data analysis method used is the Spearman rho correlation technique. Based on the results of data calculation using the Spearman Rho correlation technique between emotion regulation and academic resilience, the resulting score is 0.866 with a significant 0.000 (<0.05). This means that the hypothesis proposed is proven or accepted, namely that there is a significant positive relationship between emotional regulation and academic resilience in final students who are working on their thesis. The results of this study illustrate that the higher the emotion regulation of students, the higher the academic resilience of students, the lower the emotion regulation of students, the lower the academic resilience of students.
