Abstract

PT. RRF, perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang produksi pupuk. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi perusahaan terkait frekuensi pengiriman yang kurang optimal dan biaya transportasi yang tinggi. Dalam penelitian ini, teknik DRP dipilih karena memungkinkan perencanaan dan penjadwalan distribusi produk menjadi efisien. Proses penelitian diawali dengan pengumpulan data seperti permintaan produk, biaya operasional, dan rute pengiriman. Analisis dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi solusi manajemen penjualan yang lebih efektif. Hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa metode DRP menurunkan biaya penjualan secara signifikan dibandingkan dengan metode yang sebelumnya digunakan perusahaan. Berdasarkan perhitungan, total biaya distribusi yang dikeluarkan perseroan sebelum menerapkan metode DRP pada periode pengiriman tertentu adalah sebesar Rp 22.050.000. Setelah menerapkan metode DRP, total biaya distribusi mencapai Rp 14.700.000,- setara dengan penghematan sebesar Rp 7.350.000 atau sekitar 33,33%. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode DRP tidak hanya mengurangi biaya transportasi tetapi juga meningkatkan efisiensi manajemen distribusi produk. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu perusahaan dalam menentukan strategi distribusi dan manajemen logistik yang lebih baik, serta menjadi referensi untuk penelitian lebih lanjut di bidang ini. Pencapaian penting ini memungkinkan perusahaan menjadi lebih kompetitif di pasar dan meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan melalui pengiriman yang lebih efisien dan tepat waktu.
