Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara komunikasi interpersonal dan regulasi emosi dengan persepsi hubungan romantis pada pasangan suami istri. Hipotesis yang diajukan pada penelitian ini adalah adanya hubungan positif antara komunikasi interpersonal dengan persepsi hubungan romantis dan hipotesis kedua yaitu adanya hubungan positif antara regulasi emosi dengan persepsi hubungan romantis. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 139 partisipan yang diambil dengan menggunakan non-probability sampling dengan snowball sampling. Berdasarkan perhitungan analisis uji hipotesis pertama dengan analisis regresi berganda, diperoleh nilai korelasi (r) sebesar 0,874 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,001) yang artinya terdapat hubungan yang positif antara komunikasi interpersonal dan regulasi emosi dengan persepsi hubungan romantis. Artinya semakin tinggi komunikasi interpersonal dan regulasi emosi maka semakin tinggi pula persepsi hubungan romantis. Sebaliknya, apabila terjadi penurunan pada komunikasi interpersonal dan regulasi emosi maka persepsi hubungan romantis juga akan menurun.
