Abstract
This research aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and perceived teacher support with academic boredom in full day elementary school students. The research subjects were class XI elementary school students in three full day schools with a total sample of 131 using purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using the self-efficacy scale proposed by Bandura (1997), the perceived teacher support scaleproposed by Metheny, et al (2008) and academic boredom proposed by Sharp, et al (2020). Data analysis uses multiple regression and correlation techniques. Based on the results of the multiple regression test, the Fcount value was 42.120 with a significance level of 0.000 (<0.01). It can be concluded that the hypothesis in this research is proven, meaning that there is a negative and very significant relationship between self-efficacy and perceived teacher support and academic boredom in students at full day school elementary schools. The largest contribution to the dependent variable academic boredom is self efficacy, namely 30.08% and perceived teacher support 9.62%, while overall the total effective contribution to the variable academic boredom is 39.7%. The results of this analysis explain that the dominant influence on academic boredom comes from self-efficacy, while 60.3% is influenced by other variables not explained in this research.
