Abstract

In the era of digitalization and technological advancement, improved learning models and innovative approaches are a major concern in the field of education. Conventional learning methods are considered less attractive which leads to a lack of motivation and engagement in the learning process. To overcome this challenge, learning methods that can integrate skill concepts relevant to modern times are needed. To overcome this, a gamification learning system is needed as a factor to get children interested in the learning process to increase children's interest and motivation by adding game mechanics in the learning system. It is expected that this step can encourage active participation of early childhood in the learning process and increase children's enjoyment in participating in learning activities. This research was conducted with the aim of supporting educators in creating learning experiences that are not only fun, but also beneficial for children's development. Based on the trials that have been conducted, in 17 test cases that have been carried out, it is proven that this system has met the functional requirements that have been set and runs as expected. The evaluation of user experience using UMUX shows good results, with an average score reaching 78,5 from a total of 31 respondents. Through understanding these needs, it is hoped that this research can make a significant contribution to designing a more appropriate and relevant learning system.
