Abstract

Usaha tambak ikan nila ini adalah usaha yang dilakukan oleh penduduk yang memiliki lahan kosong / tambak, ikan nila tergolong cukup cepat dalam perkembangannya mulai dari bibit hingga panen dalam kurun waktu 4 bulan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis beberapa faktor mulai dari biaya total, penerimaan, pendapatan dan kelayakan usaha tambak ikan nila di Desa Prasung Kecamatan Buduran Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Terdapat 3 alat analisis dalam kelayakan usaha yaitu Revenue Cost Ratio (RC), Benefit Cost Ratio (BC) dan Return On Investment (ROI). Dalam penelitian ini membutuhkan 6 informan pelaku usaha tambak ikan nila, jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif. Dalam hasil penelitian 6 tambak ikan nila terdapat rata-rata biaya total sebesar Rp 44.430.833, untuk rata-rata penerimaan sebesar Rp 29.545.833/sekali panen, sedangkan rata-rata pendapatan sebesar Rp 49.544.167/sekali panen. Alat analisis kelayakan usaha menggunakan RC yang rata-ratanya sebesar 2,09 artinya RC > 1, BC yang rata-ratanya sebesar 1,13 artinya BC > 1, ROI yang rata-ratanya sebesar 87% artinya ROI > 0%. Maka kesimpulannya adalah usaha tambak ikan nila di Desa Prasung Kecamatan Buduran Kabupaten Sidoarjo layak untuk dijalankan.
