Abstract

Angle of Progression (AoP) is the angle between pubic symphysis and fetal head in transperineal ultrasound image, AoP is used to evaluate the progress of fetal head descent during labor. The use of U-Net model for evaluation of fetal head descent by calculating Angle of Progression (AoP) from transperineal ultrasound image. U-Net model is used for segmentation of pubic symphysis and fetal head area in ultrasound image. By applying the sharpening filter pre�processing technique, the U-Net model showed improved accuracy and precision in segmentation. The evaluation results show that the U-Net model has Mean Dice of 84.66% for pubic symphysis and 87.96% for fetal head, as well as Mean IoU of 73.57% and 78.85%. In addition, the U-Net model achieved an overall accuracy of 97.9%, with a sensitivity for pubic symphysis of 83.65% and specificity of 98.04%, and a sensitivity for fetal head of 74.80% and specificity of 99.12%. The Mean Absolute Error (MAE) result for AoP measurement is 10.847°.
