Abstract

Instagram is one of the social media that is often used by Indonesians as entertainment media, learning media, sales media and promotional media. On Instagram there are various features such as Instagram stories, Instagram Feed, Instagram Reels, Instagram Filters and Instagram Highlight. These features can be used to promote and enhance the brand image of a product or place. One of them is the Augmented Reality-based Instagram Filter feature. Combining 3D and Augmented Reality technology to create a filter that can be used by Instagram followers @vinautismgalleryfilter. This research aims to design a media that can be used as interactive media and promotional media at Vin Autism Gallery. The design method used is MDLC, while the Augmented Reality method used is markerless and marker based. The solution that has been made is a 3D animation filter on Instagram filters. In the markerless method the camera functions without a marker that makes 3D objects can be placed anywhere, while in the marker-based method the camera is directed at the painting, 3D animation will appear right in front of it. There are 8 types of painting genres and 5 3D object models in each genre. The research results were obtained from filter users by filling out questionnaires using the System Usability Scale (SUS) and system functional tests using Black Box. This filter received a good average score in the Sus Scale Grade category.
