Abstract

With the development of technology, one of which is in the field of information technology, namely information systems, which in this digital era are widely used by various people for personal interests in managing information. In the business field which is currently in the digital era, there are still many people, especially entrepreneurs, one of which is the Siamese fighting fish (Ikan Cupang) business is just starting out, are still confused about marketing their Siamese fighting fish business because they are still unfamiliar with the Siamese fighting fish business, even though marketing itself is the key to success in a business. To deal with these problems, marketing is needed to develop in this digital era, namely a sales information system which will later take the form of web-based e-commerce and will be used as a marketing medium for beginner or just starting out Siamese fighting fish entrepreneurs. In its design, this e-commerce will use the PHP programming language and MySQL database and there will be a useful search feature for searching for products based on user needs. This search feature will use the weighted product (WP) method so that the results obtained from the search feature match what the user needs. The aim of creating this information system for selling Siamese fighting fish is to make it easier for Siamese fighting fish entrepreneurs to develop their business and for buyers to make transactions easier because they don't need to bother coming to a Siamese fighting fish seller or Siamese fighting fish shop, and with the search feature it is hoped that it will make it easier for visitors or buyers to search for products that suit their needs in this Siamese fighting fish sales information system.
