Abstract

Optimal time for completing construction work really needs to be applied, so that what is done is effective and does not waste a lot of time. In completing a development project, optimal time is needed, so that there are no delays within the specified time. This causes the costs required to increase and the work becomes less effective. This research uses the CPM (Critical Path Method), which is a method for determining the critical path in network analysis for a series of activities carried out, so that the work carried out is optimal and effective. The results obtained in this research are for optimal activities in completing the residential construction project in Ngblak Rejo, namely initially a time period of 94 days was determined at a cost of Rp. 256,306,000 then using the CPM Method (Critical Path Method) can be completed within 75 days at a cost of Rp. 204,498,700. This will save 19 days of time and cost Rp. 51,807,300.
