Abstract

Hotel merupakan sebuah bisnis yang bergerak di bidang jasa sesuai dengan keputusan Mentri Parpostel no Km 94/HK 103/MPPT 1987. Dimana pengertian hotel yaitu sebuah akomodasi yang menyediakan jasa pelayanan penginapan, penyedia makanan dan minuman serta jasa lainnya bagi masyarakat umum yang dikelola secara komersil. Operasional hotel sehari-hari mengalami beberapa permasalahan yang cukup signifikan akibat pendataan yang masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga dapat mempengaruhi kualitas pelayanan hotel. Pembukuan keuangan seringkali mengalami kesalahan dalam pembukuannya sehingga menyebabkan terjadinya selisih antara uang masuk dan keluar. Pada proses reservasi yang masih dilakukan secara manual kerap menimbulkan masalah tumpang tindih pada status kamar yang telah direservasi oleh tamu hotel. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu melakukan perancangan dan membangun sebuah sistem customer oriented hotel management system berbasis progressive web apps. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi rujukan dan dasar dalam pengembangan sistem manajemen hotel berbasis progressive web apps yang berguna dalam membantu operasional hotel.
