Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out and explain how criminal acts of fraud are and the criminal liability of perpetrators of online fraud crimes with part-time work mode. In writing, it uses normative research methods, using a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. The research results show that in the context of Indonesian criminal law, criminal acts of online fraud with part-time work mode are regulated by Article 28 paragraph (1) of the ITE Law no. 1 of 2024. This article regulates the spread of false or misleading news that can result in losses for consumers in electronic transactions, including online fraud with part-time work mode. The criminal liability of perpetrators of online fraud crimes with part-time work mode can be seen from two different legal perspectives, namely the Criminal Code (KUHP) and the Information and Electronic Transactions Law (UU ITE).
