Abstract

Seiring dengan meningkatnya kebutuhan listrik di era ini maka kualitas dan kuantitas penyediaan listrik harus lebih andal. Untuk menjamin kontinuitas penyediaan energi listrik tersebut maka diperlukan tingkat keandalan yang tinggi sehingga suatu sistem tenaga listrik harus dapat menjamin dari segi ketersediaannya serta memiliki keandalan yang baik. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisa tingkat keandalan sistem distribusi 20kV pada penyulang Platuk di PT PLN. ULP Kenjeran dengan menggunakan metode section technique. Perhitungan indeks keandalan menggunakan metode section technique dimana nilai indeks keandalan sistem dihitung berdasarkan efek kegagalan yang dialami oleh sistem akibat dari kegagalan yang ditimbulkan pada tiap komponen dan bagaimana pengaruhnya terhadap titik beban. Hasil perhitungan diperoleh nilai SAIFI, SAIDI dan CAIDI berturut-turut sebesar 2.699455 kali/tahun, 5.128804 jam/tahun dan 1.9 jam/gangguan. Berdasarkan SPLN No. 68-2 : 1986 yang mengatur tentang indeks keandalan yaitu SAIFI sebesar 3.2 kali/tahun, SAIDI sebesar 21 jam/tahun, dan CAIDI sebesar 6,56 jam/gangguan maka nilai indeks keandalan dapat dikategorikan sesuai dengan standar SPLN dan tergolong handal. Sedangkan perbandingan menggunakan metode section technique dengan tanpa section technique didapatkan hasil indeks keandalan memburuk dimana dengan tanpa section nilai SAIFI sebesar 3.21112 (naik 15.93%), nilai SAIDI sebesar 12.4056 jam/tahun (naik 58.65%) dan nilai CAIDI sebesar 3.9 jam/gangguan (naik 51.12%). Untuk upaya peningkatan keandalan dilakukan dengan penambahan LBS didapatkan peningkatan keandalan menjadi lebih baik dimana nilai SAIFI (turun 39.18%) menjadi 2.593677678 kali/tahun, nilai SAIDI (turun 42.20%) menjadi 4.912327011 jam/tahun, dan nilai CAIDI (turun 0.5%) menjadi 1.89 jam/gangguan.
