Abstract

PT. PLN (Persero) merupakan sebuah Perusahaan Listrik milik negara yang bergerak dalam penyaluran daya Listrik. Dalam menyalurkan daya Listrik pihak PLN tidak sepenuhnya dapat bekerja secara kondusif, namun terdapat beberapa kendala yang dapat menyebabkan kerugian baik bagi pihak PLN sendiri maupun terhadap konsumen. Salah satu kendala yang dialami adalah terjadinya losses yaitu energi yang dikirim oleh pihak PLN tidak sepenuhnya di terima oleh konsumen. Losses yang terjadi yaitu pada jaringan distribusi tegangan rendah. Hal ini disebabkan adanya kandungan tahanan pada penghantar yang bersifat permanen dan sifat alamiah jaringan itu sendiri. Dalam proses perhitungan susut energi ini banyak dialami kesulitan karena luasnya jaringan distribusi. Sehingga diperlukan suatu metode untuk menghitung susut tersebut. Maka dari itu, untuk meningkatkan mutu pelayanan pihak Perusahaan PLN terhadap konsumen, diperlukan informasi mengenai angka susut yang terjadi dan nantinya akan dicari bagaimana cara mengurangi dan mengatasi masalah susut tersebut. Susut yang terjadi adalah susut teknis pada sisi gardu distribusi jaringan tegangan rendah. Yang dimulai dengan mencari arus maximal pada transformator dengan kode AE123 dengan kapasitas trafo 160 kva, diperoleh arus maksimal sebesar 230,94 A dan arus rata-rata pada sisi beban sebesar 44,3 A. Kemudian menghitung arus pada titik beban setiap jurusan dengan hasil yang didapat untuk jurusan 1 diperoleh 4,9 Ampere, umtuk jurusan 3 diperoleh 5,5 Ampere, dan untuk jurusan 4 diperoleh 4,9 Ampere. Langkah selanjutnya menghitung nilai resistansi pada penghantar, maka didapat resistansi untuk jurusan 1 sebesar 0,612 Ω, untuk jurusan 3 sebesar 0.602 Ω dan untuk jurusan 4 sebesar
