Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) technology is a technology that allows objects around you to be connected to the internet network. The application of internet of things technology can be applied in various fields, especially in this research the application of internet of things technology in the livestock sector to monitor temperature and humidity in boiler chicken coops. Because the current use of temperature and humidity equipment for chickens is felt to be less effective, because the process of monitoring temperature and humidity in boiler chicken coops is still carried out conventionally and does not utilize internet network technology for the process of monitoring temperature and humidity in chicken coops. Therefore, it is necessary to create a tool that can monitor the temperature and humidity conditions in the broiler chicken coop by utilizing the existing internet network using DHT11 temperature and humidity sensors, solid state relays for controlling heating lights and fans, as well as the NodeMCU ESP32 module as a microcontroller that processes and transmits data from the sensor to the web server via the internet network, the website page is used as an interface to monitor temperature and humidity in the broiler chicken coop remotely based on IOT by utilizing the internet network and the system can maintain the temperature between 29 - 30°C and humidity 60% at the age of chickens 7 to 14 days.
