Abstract

In carrying out its business activities, UD. Lanang Robusta Larissa Coffee in Mojokerto faces challenges in managing raw material supplies. Therefore, analysis of the application of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method is important to increase efficiency and optimize their production processes. By understanding the principles of EOQ, companies can make the right decisions regarding purchasing and storing raw materials economically.the method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach. by applying two data sources, namely secondary data and primary data. The data collection techniques applied were observation and interviews.the results of this research are (1) UD.Kopi Lanang Robusta Larissa still uses traditional estimates in managing coffee bean supplies, not taking into account the amount of safety stock and reorder points required. (2) Using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method increases the efficiency of ordering coffee bean raw materials, reducing the risk of inventory shortages. (3) The EOQ method is more efficient and cost-effective in comparison with the company's conventional system, helping to reduce raw material inventory costs.the recommendation that researchers suggest for companies is to apply the EOQ method in inventory management of coffee bean raw materials to save costs and increase efficiency. And for further research it is necessary to consider additional related variables and expand the scope to increase insight.
