Abstract

Krembangan Village faces a series of critical challenges related to environmental pollution and the effectiveness of disaster mitigation efforts. Even though various efforts have been made, there are still a number of shortcomings that require serious attention. Identification of water, land and air pollution problems shows that the main sources of pollution are domestic and industrial waste that is not managed properly. This resultsin a decrease in environmental quality and has a negative impact on public health. Apart from that, disaster mitigation efforts in Krembangan Village have not been fully effective, due to low community participation, budget limitations and a lack of experts. A thorough evaluation revealed the need for improvements in various aspects, from increasing infrastructure and institutional capacity to providing adequate funding and utilizing technology. Finally, the integration of environmental resilience aspects in village development planning is still less than optimal, requiring increased awareness, human resource capacity and stronger policy support. This identification and evaluation shows that to achieve success, Krembangan Village requires a more holistic and collaborative approach in dealing with environmental problems and disaster mitigation.
