Abstract

Schedule is one of the important components in the implementation of activities in the field. In the implementation, challenges and obstacles are often encountered which then have the potential to cause delays / delays in the completion of an activity or even a series of activities. This research was conducted on the Airlangga University Soetandyo Building Construction Project which experienced delays in completion due to internal factors. This study aims to identify a series of critical activities that have the potential to experience delays. After obtaining a series of critical activities, the analysis is continued by simulating delays in the range of 1%-5% and accelerating with the What if method: adding workers and adding working hours on critical activities that experience delays. Based on the calculation of the What If schedule, the acceleration of activity B1 due to the delay of B2 by 1% - 5% results in a uniform value of additional manpower, a total of 1 person / day and a uniform increase in the number of working hours of 1 hour / day, one can be chosen as a solution, namely the cost of completion due to additional manpower is IDR 37,503,376,333.33 or the cost of completion of additional working hours of IDR 37,505,036,888.89.
