Abstract

Memperoleh atau mendapatkan suatu pekerjaan pada umumnya merupakan capaian karir yang terjadi ketika individu memasuki masa beranjak dewasa. Hal ini dapat memicu terjadinya kecemasan, terutama pada individu dalam periode perkembangan yang pada umumnya baru memulai meniti karir seperti halnya seorang mahasiswa yang telah menyelesaikan studi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepercayaan diri dan dukungan sosial dengan kecemasan karir pada mahasiswa buddhis. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 80 mahasiswa buddhis dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Metode analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada uji hipotesis pertama, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel kepercayaan diri dengan kecemasan karir. Hipotesis kedua menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial dan kecemasan karir. Hipotesis ketiga menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan diri dan dukungan sosial secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kecemasan karir pada mahasiswa buddhis.
