Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between stress and academic procrastination in junior high school students. This research used quantitative research with a total of 144 subjects. The sampling technique in this research is cluster random sampling. The measuring tool in this research uses a stress scale of 18 items, an academic procrastination scale of 21 items. The sample who participated in this research were junior high school students. Based on analytical calculations using Spearman's Rho analysis, a score of 0.864 was obtained with p=0.000 (p<0.01), there was a significant positive relationship between stress and academic procrastination, meaning that the higher the level of stress eating, the higher the academic procrastination, and vice versa
