Abstract

Dalam industri peternakan unggas, kandang ayam sangat penting. Suhu udara di dalam kandang adalah salah satu komponen lingkungan yang memiliki pengaruh besar terhadap kesejahteraan dan produktivitas ayam. Pengaturan suhu di kandang ayam sangat penting untuk menjaga kesehatan dan performa ternak yang optimal karena suhu udara yang berlebihan dapat menyebabkan stres panas, yang dapat mengganggu kesehatan, kenyamanan, dan produktivitas ayam. Value Engineering (VE) adalah suatu pendekatan sistematis yang digunakan dalam manajemen proyek, desain produk, konstruksi, atau proses bisnis untuk meningkatkan nilai dari suatu produk atau proses dengan mengoptimalkan rasio antara kualitas dan biaya. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada perusahaan ini adalah kurangnya kontrol suhu pada kandang yang menyebabkan terjadinya stress panas,dehidrasi, bahkan kematian. Total biaya pembuatan Mikrokontroler Arduino Uno 495.500 dan membutuhkan kapasitas daya 10,81Watt. biaya yang diperlukan untuk menjalankan Arduino dan pompa air selama 4 jam dalam satu bulan adalah sekitar Rp 2.204,63. Dan dari penelitian ini disimpulkan penggunaan alat sprayer berbasis Arduino uno ini lebih terjangkau dan lebih efisien untuk penggunaan alatnya bisa dilihat selisi biaya perbulannya mencapai Rp. 306.016.
