Abstract

Achievement motivation is important for elementary school students, but this is in line with their individual aspirations and goals. The elementary school phase is the initial educational step that students take as a path to the future. Therefore, if the level of learning motivation of elementary school students is high, it will influence the achievement of their learning outcomes. Achievement motivation is a driving force that allows someone to succeed in achieving what they dream of. This research aims to determine differences in achievement motivation in terms of demographic factors and the divorce status of parents of elementary school students in the city of Surabaya. This research is a comparative type of quantitative research. Sampling in this research used a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling type. The total sample for this research was 146 students. The results of this research were tested using the T-test (independent sample t-test) dan One Way Anova (analysis of varians), shows that there is an average difference between students' achievement motivation.
