Abstract
Optimal time in completing a construction job really needs to be applied, so that the process that is done becomes more effective and does not waste a lot of time. In completing a development project, optimal time is needed, so that there is no delay with the specified time. So that it causes the required costs to increase and the work does not become effective. This research examines the implementation of the PT Sindabad Marine Pioneer Warehouse construction project in Pasuruan, East Java, focusing on the application of network planning with the Critical Path Method (CPM). Through quantitative research with data collection through interviews and observations, the analysis results show that the CPM method determines the critical path with a total project duration of 180 days. The critical path includes preparation, sloof work, steel structure, floor plate, wall pair, electrical work, painting and finishing. The results of this study indicate that the application of network planning with the CPM method increases the efficiency of the time and process of construction projects on the construction of the Sindabad Marine Pioneer Factory Warehouse, which initially took 180 days to build, shortened by 54 days. The project cost efficiency obtained from the research results using the critical path method is Rp. 432,234,000 The successful application of CPM is expected to optimize project implementation time and be an important contribution to the development of the warehouse.
