Abstract

PT. Elang Jagad one of the products produced by the company is Furnace DNS 9900 New, PT. Elang Jagad is one of the companies engaged in the industry of making stove furnaces with a make to order system. A company can be said to be effective when scheduling a product in the completion of a request from consumers. One of the influential factors in solving a demand is working time, workers / labor who contribute to the completion of a production. The purpose of this study is to determine work productivity, the standard time of each worker and how much the optimal workforce is. By using several methods including, objective matrix stopwatch time study, workload alaysis. After the method was applied, it was found that the results of the study showed that there were 4 months whose productivity decreased, especially in February and April whose productivity decreased dramatically so that it could affect the production results and the process of making a stove stove 1 unit of product 5.86 minutes with 16 workers and cost Rp. 460,800,000. In terms of the number of workers, it would be better if the company continues to use 14 workers plus overtime at a cost of Rp. 409,799,516 compared to adding 2 workers at a cost of Rp. 460,800,000
