Abstract

The Islamic Centre is one of the parties that provides rental services for a venue that can be used for wedding receptions, graduations, and other similar occasions in Surabaya, East Java. The Islamic Centre still uses conventional methods for bookings, where potential renters can directly visit the reservation office or make reservations over the phone to obtain information and verify the availability of the venue on the desired date and session. Although this method may be sufficient for now, it often faces inefficiencies in searching for data on venue availability. To address this problem, a system is needed that can record venue bookings, check venue availability, and serve as a repository for order information. The Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology is used to develop this system. The developed information system successfully passed validation testing to check the system's functionality, achieving a validity rate of 100%. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) was conducted with the participation of five individuals, including renters and administrators, and the results indicated that the information system for renting the Islamic Centre venue was well-received by users
