Abstract
The Lamongan - Babat Highway section is the Javanese North Coast ring road which is a strategic route for economic growth for communities on the island of Java in the distribution of goods and services covering district/city areas. The condition of the Jalan Lamongan – Babat section with National Road status has a high capacity vehicle volume which results in very high traffic jams every day. The condition of the road which has a lane width of 3.5 meters with a 4/2 D divided median road type is a rigid pavement construction with wiremesh reinforcement and iron dowels which are installed according to road pavement structure planning standards with the aim of being able to distribute the loads that occur as a result. movement of traffic vehicle loads so that the load acting on the pavement structure can be distributed to the reinforcement that is installed with the function of preventing cracks or fractures from occurring in the pavement structure. In conducting research on the Lamongan – Babat road section sta 65 + 000 – 68 + 000 to identify damage that occurred on rigid pavement (Rigid Pavement) as well as the parameters of each type of damage from Low, Medium and High levels of damage. Therefore, to determine the parameters for each type of damage, you can refer to the Pavement Index Condition (PCI) method to find the Density value, Deduct Value deficiency value, maximum Deduct Value value and PCI value for each road condition as well as handling repairs resulting from road damage that occurs on the Road Section. Lamongan – Tripe. Based on the calculation results, the Pavement Index Condition (PCI)value for the left section was obtained with a total PCI value of 1689 with an average value of 56.3 in the good road condition category, while for the right section the total PCI value was 1726 with an average value of 57. .3 with the good road condition category. Therefore, Pavement Index Condition values are obtained for the left and right sides by handling road pavement repairs using routine maintenance methods for road conditions categorized as Very Good, Good and Fair and for periodic maintenance on conditions. roads are categorized as bad (Poor) and very bad (Very Poor). By handling repairs to road damage, it will have a positive impact on road users in their daily activities and in the smooth movement of the economy in the form of goods and services
