Abstract
The Hat Industry Business in Punggul Village, Gedangan Subdistrict, has made an effort to provide a large contribution to employment, as well as the economy implemented in Punggul Village, Gedangan District. However, in every industrial business there will be a negative impact from the agglomeration of the hat industry because the resulting product is homogeneous, causing unhealthy competition. The number of hat industries has led to product price competition between entrepreneurs, resulting in less attention to the quality of a product and only focusing on setting cheap or low prices. As a result, some entrepreneurs get a little profit. Entrepreneurs who cannot maintain the quality of their production will experience setbacks. A solution is needed so that competition between hat manufacturers continues to run in a healthy manner, so that entrepreneurs maintain the quality of their products, then a feasibility analysis is carried out in order to eliminate the magnitude of the risk that will be borne by the Hat industry players in Punggul Village, besides the need to study the right development strategy to be able to increase the Hat industry business in Punggul Village, Gedangan District. The purpose of this research is to find out the profile of the hat industry, to find out the financial feasibility of the hat industry, and to find out the hat sector development strategy in Punggul Village, Gedangan District. Feasibility analysis uses Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Net Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) analysis, to determine whether a business is feasible or not. The results showed that the hat industry business on the NPV feasibility analysis of the hat industry in Punggul Village, Gedangan District, was feasible. While the BCR analysis shows that the results of this effort are feasible. The IRR value shows that the results of this business are feasible.
