Abstract

Writing aims to be able to know and explain the authority of law enforcers to provide rehabilitation for narcotics users based on restorative justice. The perpetrators of criminal acts of narcotics distribution in Indonesia are growing rapidly, so that strict action is needed from law enforcers, namely the Police and the Attorney General's Office in eradicating narcotics circulation. Narcotics regulation is contained in Law number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics. For the method applied related to this writing using normative research and using statutory and conceptual approaches. The results of the discussion when handling narcotics cases, law enforcement officials, both police and prosecutors, are given authority by law in Perpol (police regulations) number 8 of 2021 and Perja (guidance of the attorney general) number 18 of 2021 and in carrying out their duties. Law enforcement officials must act based on the principle of restorative justice.
