Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self- compassion and psychological well-being with loneliness in broken home children. This research was conducted on 158 subjects with an age range of 18-40 years. This study has three hypotheses, including 1. there is a relationship between self- compassion and psychological well-being with loneliness in broken home children, 2. there is a relationship between self-compassion and loneliness in broken home children, 3. there is a relationship between psychological well-being and loneliness in broken home children Using a purposive sampling method. The UCLA Loneliness Scale (Version 3), Neff Self-compassion Scale, and Ryff Psychological well-being Scale were used in this study as measurement tools. Data analysis used multiple regression analysis with the help of a statistical program (SPSS 26 for windows) with the results showing that 1. there is a relationship between self-compassion and psychological well-being with loneliness in broken home children; 2. there is a negative relationship between self-compassion and loneliness in broken home children, which means that the higher the self-compassion, the lower the loneliness, and vice versa; 3. there is a negative relationship between psychological well-being and loneliness in broken home children, which means that the higher the psychological well-being, the lower the loneliness, and vice versa
