Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui variasi diameter piston 50 mm, 53 mm dan 56 mm pada putaran mesin 3000 rpm, 4000 rpm, 5000 rpm dan 6000 rpm terhadap performa mesin sepeda motor Honda Supra Fit 100 cc. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental . Variabel independen yang digunakan yakni variasi diameter piston pada Sepeda Motor Honda Supra Fit 100 cc, sedangkan variabel dependen yaitu torsi,daya dan konsumsi bahan bakar. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan purposive sampling teknik penentuan data yang digunakan berdasarkan rekomendasi dosen pembimbing. Pengujian yang dilakukan adalah uji dynotest dan uji konsumsi bahan bakar. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan nilai torsi tertinggi sebesar 11,37 N.m Nilai torsi terendah sebesar 7,28 N.m torsi mengalami kenaikan sebesar 35,97%. Pada pengujian daya mengalami kenaikan nilai daya sebesar 43,28 %. Uji konsumsi bahan bakar tertinggi 0,66 l/jam dan yang terendah sebesar 0,33 l/jam. nilai sfc tertinggi 0,82 kg/jam.kW. sfc terendah adalah 0,08 kg/jam.kW
