Abstract

Walela, Yosafat. 2022. Analisis Kelayakan Usaha Ternak Kambing (Studi Kasus: di Desa Pangpajung Kecamatan Modung, Kabupaten Bangkalan). Skripsi. Program Studi Ekonomi Pembangunan. Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya. Pembimbing I: Drs Ec Bambang Wiwoho,M.M. Pembimbing II: Dr.I Made Suparta M.M. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengetahui ketersedian modal usaha ternak kambing sebanyak 10-15 ekor, (2) mengetahui besar penerima produksi dari usaha ternak kambing, (3) mengetahui besar pendapatan usaha ternak kambing, (4) mengertahui pengaruh karakteristik sosial ekonomi terhadap pendapatan usaha ternak kambing. Desain penelitian menggunakan pendekatan mixed method. Data-data yang digunakan, yaitu data kualitatif dan data kuantitif. Sumber data diperoleh dari data primer dan data skunder. Penelitiaan mengguanakan populasi 140 dengan sampel 58. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, kuesioner, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Definisi variabel pada penelitian, yaitu usaha peternakaan kambing, ketersedian input produksi, penerimaan, harga jual, biaya produksi, pendapatam, kelayakan usaha ternak kambing, R/C Ratio, dan ROI (Retum of invetment). Pengelolaan data pada pendekatan kuantitatif, yaitu editing, coding dan tabulasi. Rumus kelayakan usaha, yaitu R/C, BEP, ROI. Metode analisis linear menggunakan alat bantu SPPS 10 penetuan secara Slovin. Penelitian ini menunjukkan modal secara rinci dan jumlah waktu yang cukup. Penerimaan rata-rata usaha ternak kambing sebesar Rp735.780.000,-. Pendapatan rata-rata usaha ternak kambing sebesar Rp640.260.000,-. Populasi yang digunakan pada penelitian, yaitu 140 dengan sampel berjumlah 58 responden. Karakteristik sosial ekonomi usaha ternak kambing secara parsial menunjukaan jika koefisien variabel bebas umur dan pendidikan yang tidak terpengaruh pada variabel terikat. Variabel terikat pada usaha ternak kambing, yaitu lama usaha ternak dan luas kandang secara parsial berpengaruhi pada variabel pendapatan usaha ternak.
