Abstract

Ketidakseimbangan beban mengakibatkan beban pada setiap penyulang di PLN UP3 Surabaya Selatan menjadi tidak merata, hal tersebut dikarenakan penumpukan beban pada salah satu penghantar fasa yang menyebabkan arus netral mengalir pada penghantar netral transformator sehingga rugi-rugi daya pada jaringan distribusi akan meningkat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode untuk menghitung rugi-rugi daya yang didapatkan akibat ketidakseimbangan beban serta menganalisis besarnya nilai arus netral pada transformator distribusi saat beban tidak seimbang. Ketidakseimbangan beban yang terjadi dapat mengakibatkan terjadi kerugian yang cukup besar karena hampir semua transformator yang digunakan mengalami ketidakseimbangan beban. Ketidakseimbangan beban yang terjadi pada seluruh penyulang yang ada di ULP Dukuh Kupang berjumlah 33 gardu distribusi. Dikarenakan data yang diberikan oleh pihak PLN UP3 Surabaya Selatan hanya pada pengukuran siang hari saja maka perhitungan tarif yang dipakai adalah LWBP (Luar Waktu Beban Puncak). Jumlah susut energi (losses) yang diakibatkan oleh ketidakseimbangan beban dalam 1 hari adalah 1009.02 kWH sehingga kerugian yang dialami jika dihitung dalam rupiah sebesar Rp. 1.044.33.90. Katakunci : arus netral, ketidakseimbangan beban, rugi-rugi daya (The load imbalance causes the load on each feeder at PLN UP3 South Surabaya to be uneven, this is due to the buildup of load on one of the phase conductors which causes neutral current to flow in the neutral conductor of the transformer so that power losses in the distribution network will increase. This study uses a method to calculate the power losses obtained due to load imbalance and analyze the value of the neutral current in the distribution transformer when the load is unbalanced. The load imbalance that occurs can result in considerable losses because almost all transformers used experience load imbalances. The load imbalance that occurs in all feeders in ULP Dukuh Kupang is 33 distribution substations. Because the data provided by PLN UP3 South Surabaya is only for daytime measurements, the tariff calculation used is LWBP (Outside of Peak Load Time). The amount of energy losses (losses) caused by load imbalance in 1 day is 1009.02 kWH so that the losses experienced if calculated in rupiah are Rp. 1,044.33.90.
